In his third album that is not yet released nearly complete, Ky-mani is certainly a major star for himself. In February of 1976, Ky-mani was born to legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis player Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". Being a man living up to his name, every album and travel is an experience. The musical journey started in 1999 with The Journey. With an eclectic vision he found his voice while exploring the entire musical spectrum, exploring his many talents. Many More Roads, a traditional reggae album that won a Grammy Award in 2001, revealed a mature Ky-mani. The Journey as well as Many More Roads were well loved by the public worldwide, and established Ky-Mani's place as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani is known for his distinctive blend with hip-hop, R&B and a hint of contemporary jazz.
