Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actor as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna Silk's father is British, as is her mother, is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother working in rehearsals for plays. Anna was a part of numerous commercials when she was a child. Anna moved in Toronto so that her acting skills could develop. In the following years, she moved to Los Angeles. She met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actors' workshop located in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in the year 2009. Anna became a Jew in 2011 after converting to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows during a Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton on April 11, 2011.
