Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. She grew up with dreams of great heights. Her greatest roles are the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol as well as the romantic dramatic Precious. Her birthplace was in an upper middle-class family in Los Angeles and had big hopes for the future. Her mother was a movie enthusiast and was a constant source of encouragement to her love for films as a child. Paula was involved in the co-curricular activities of her school and was particularly drawn to drama. Paula was a fan of acting with her classmates and was a part of school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous opportunities to be an actor during her high school years and she picked acting as a career. In a summer program offered by the University of Southern California, she was awe-inspiring there. She was given a three month task to produce documentary films for PBS. When she was able to complete the assignment successfully, she started working as an assistant for TV documentary production. Then she began producing documentaries. She loved her work however, she always wanted to become an actor. She launched her acting career with a small role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Over the past few years, she's appeared in many movies and shows.
